You make a good point about having large camps.
On a more general note, sure you can WTF all you want but it only makes sense to use stabs for travel, WTFing at that is like WTFing when a Kestrel uses missiles...

This attitude gets a big WTF from me.
Why do you think you have the right to WTF anyone for his choice of fittings? How the F*** do you know why he has put stabs on his BS? And even if you're right - so what?
Sure, we can all go WTF at every single thing we don't like or wouldn't have done ourselves, that leads to nothing but flamefests. But hey, maybe that's what you all enjoy in here, this forum certainly is full of them.
Well there you go, maybe you wouldn't have said it but why WTF him for saying it? It's his choice of words.
In all seriousness though, we aren't necessarily going to flame and smack if someone fits a stab on a combat ship, for combat. We're just going to say "wtf?" because:
1) It doesn't make any sense.
2) You're showing you haven't got the guts to risk your ship but you still want to fight.
I could come up with examples as to why each role of ship is gimped by a stab, but I think the fact that it cuts your lock range and time in half makes it quite obvious.
